Take on this tour of Buena Vista! From the rolling gravel roads of the Fourmile Recreation Area to the flowy singletrack of the Midland & Whipple trail systems, riders will experience a bit of everything on this epic adventure. One thing's for certain, there's no lack of views! While it may not be the most technically challenging course, it'll be sure to test your legs as well as your lungs.

Course description
Starting at the BV Community Center, participants will ride through town & head north to the Fourmile Recreation Area. While it may be a cool morning, riders will warm up quickly as they begin the climb to the Davis Meadow Trail. This secluded trail will take riders past the remnants of old pioneer homesteads & through pinon, fir, & aspen forests. Once back on the gravel roads of Fourmile, riders will continue on the Midland Bike Trail (once a narrow-gauge railway) through Chubb Park State Land Trust & Lenhardy Cutoff. When riders reach McGee Gulch Trailhead, they'll begin their singletrack journey back to BV by way of some of our favorite trails. A few short semi-technical sections will be sure to challenge tired legs, but overall the riding is intermediate-level & enjoyable. Cold beer awaits at the finish line!
